Family

I like to think that family photography is where I found my beginning as a photographer. Or rather, it’s where my inspiration comes from. Looong before having a family of my own, I saw a little girl and her Dad having fun at a fireworks event on Canada Day and in that moment I realized that was what I wanted to do - capture that moment. I like a lot of different types of photography but family photography is where my heart lives. Kids, parents, grandparents and pets - they all grow older! Documenting your lives and your love as a family is such a special thing to do and such a privilege as a photographer.

Maternity

I know I know.. that last trimester is a doozy. You feel all kinds of things. The last thing you might want is to dress up and have your photo taken, but trust me, as someone who last minute decided to have a maternity shoot for both my pregnancies, it’s worth it! This is a special time in your life. Whether this is your 1st, 2nd, 3rd.. (and so on) baby, your world is about to change! It can be so meaningful to not only capture that bump, but to also capture those special moments between you and your partner, you and your older kid(s) before you invite a new family member into your lives!

Newborn

The squishiness, the cuddles, that perfect sleeping face. The wrinkles, the stretches, the cries. The nursing, the eyes wide, the pouty lips. This phase of a baby’s life, and YOUR life, it’s hard.. like really hard, but isn’t it so beautiful? It’s wonderful, but it’s fleeting. I can’t recommend newborn photography enough. It doesn’t have to be with me! Just someone. You don’t get this time back. My style of newborn photography is very natural. I want to photograph you and your newborn in your home and in the warm, inviting space you’ve created for them!

Included under “Lifestyle” is couples, engagements, pets, friends, graduation, milestones, etc.! There’s no limit, and ALL are welcome.
